We know that being stuck at home can get monotonous and maybe even a little boring for our children. Here are some fun things to do to hopefully cure your boredom and stir craziness!

  1. Themed Movie Nights

Movie nights can be fun for the whole family, especially if the whole night is themed towards the movie you are watching! The Lion King for example can be as simple as zebra cakes and gummy worms or you can make something special like Jack Jack’s beloved cookie from the Incredibles to snack on during the movie. You can even go all out and make dinner movie themed too! This can be very fun, especially for kiddos, because they’re eating like their favorite movie characters!

2. Gardening

Nothing feels better than seeing a seedling you planted grow and thrive. Plus, it’s kind of nice getting ingredients you cook with from your own personal garden. You can grow plants inside, or outside if the weather permits. There are tons of kits you can get to get started and you can pick and choose what you want to grow.

3. A Picnic in Your Backyard

Bring out the blanket and make some sandwiches. There is nothing better than enjoying the sun and having a nice meal.

4. Bake Something New

Try things you never thought you would eat or try and decorate a cake. You may have a bigger palate than you thought or realize you are not half bad at making flowers out of icing.

  1. Watch livestreams at home or explore the world

5. Explore the World Virtually

With everyone being stuck at home, many places have livestreams or virtual tours.
